Probably Sweden's most exciting and promising underground act, The Mist of Avalon from Uppsala, released their self-titled debut album in 1998. With their metal influenced heavy rock, often compared to bands like Type O Negative and Black Sabbath, The Mist of Avalon have a big potential market. This is partly confirmed by the fact that they are a popular live act back in Sweden. The beautiful and yet so mighty voice of the vocalist Aram Yildiz is together with the strong guitars the foundation of The Mist of Avalon.
